Cultural Art Therapy Workshops

EverBead is proud to offer in-person and virtual Cultural Art Therapy workshops that support wholistic wellness, healing, and connection through the art of beading.

Founded and facilitated by Darci Everson, Owner & Founder of EverBead and Master of Social Work (MSW) candidate, these workshops thoughtfully blend cultural teachings, beading knowledge, and therapeutic counselling approaches. Darci brings together her lived experience, professional training, and deep love for beading to create meaningful and supportive learning spaces.

Participants will:

  • Learn foundational and intermediate beading techniques

  • Explore why beading is healing and how it supports emotional regulation

  • Gain tools for managing emotions and stress through beading

  • Be welcomed into a safe, inclusive, and culturally respectful environment

  • Learn how to incorporate beading into community programs, classrooms, and wellness initiatives

EverBead has facilitated workshops with Indigenous and non-Indigenous organizations, groups engaged in healing and reconciliation, First Nation and urban community members, as well as teachers, classrooms, and youth groups.
