EverBead’s Origin Story:

EverBead’s name was derived from Darci’s last name of Everson and represents the notion of beadwork lasting ‘forever’ and also honours Anishinaabe humour of describing beadwork and beadworkers as ‘ever good’ and ever deadly’.

EverBead began by selling beads at a yard sale, and shortly after a friend asked Darci to create a beading kit for her daughter. Since then, EverBead has evolved into creating many different beading kits and delivering cultural art therapy workshops to Indigenous First Nation communities, organizations, individuals, and allies.

At EverBead, we strongly believe that beading is healing and are committed to healing the vibe, one bead at a time. Beading and other forms of cultural art, allow us to connect with one another and heal on an individual and collective level.
